“This is a transition of career for me, I retired from 25 years in the hair stylist industry. I took some time for myself. It was kind of like ‘okay what’s next?’ We were renovating the house. I always had a bit of an affinity for it, but I was lacking the confidence. People were coming to my house and asking me who my designer was! I came to the school and I talked to them and I decided to take the plunge and just do it! I am having a blast – I’ve got goosebumps actually, it’s really fun. I’m in my element. The creative juices are flowing.“
