Programs and Intakes for International

Qualifying Areas of Study

To qualify for the immigration pathways outlined above, international students must attend classes on campus. While many of our programs are available online, this delivery format does not meet the eligibility requirements for these specific immigration pathways.

At Eastern College, we’re proud to offer programs that align with these pathways, empowering students to pursue rewarding, in-demand careers in Canada.

The following diploma programs at Eastern College may qualify for the eligible immigration streams mentioned above:

Early Childhood Education

Personal Support Worker

Pharmacy Technician

Important Notice: CCA Program in Halifax

Due to overwhelming demand, we are no longer accepting new international applications for the Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) program in Halifax at this time.

We will keep you posted when future seats become available. At Eastern College, we remain deeply committed to the well-being, success, and long-term opportunities of our international student community. These decisions are part of a strategic effort to ensure that every student is positioned to thrive both academically and professionally in Canada. We will continue to monitor changes with IRCC and availability under the eligible immigration pathways, and make adjustments in the future.
